As we all settle back in to the working routine following the Christmas break we now look ahead to the coming business year.
If you have kept up with our previous blog post you will be aware that we have carried out a major re-investment programme within the business over the last 3 years. This has focused on internal renovation works, investment into new equipment and machinery, integration of supply chain management, re-branding, launch of a new website and improvement into our internal working processes.
So, what do we have in store for this year we hear you say! We will be continuing with the internal process improvements but our big focus this year will be improvements to our customer care and service.
Our goal for 2016 is to be more efficient in reporting potential issues to customers as they arise as well as suggesting improvements to products and tooling where they can be identified. We want to ensure our customers are fully aware of work carried out on their behalf both when charged and when part of our general continuous improvement programs. By maintaining regular customer contact we want to take a pro-active approach in ensuring our service is meeting expectations going forward.
It is very easy to get bogged down in the day to day grind and dealing with issues as they arise. Sometimes this means that the customer is receiving great service but as we don’t tell them what we have been doing for them then they are blissfully unaware!
After all what good are improvements if no one knows you have made them….
Later on in the year we will be exhibiting at the PDM Plastics 2016 event which takes place in Telford on 14th and 15th June. This is a must attend event for anyone in the polymer industry and is also great for networking. If you are planning to attend you can come by and see us on stand B031, you can pre re-register for the event now by clicking here.
